Hi and welcome!
This is Mary Frances, one of the owners of Gluten Free Cooking School. My husband, John, is the other owner, and he’ll be sending out emails on this list too.
My goal for this email is threefold. First I want to welcome you, then I’ll tell you what you should expect from the Gluten Free Cooking School Affiliate program, and then I’ll give you the directions for how to set up your affiliate account.
First off, I am so glad to have you be a part of the Gluten Free Cooking School affiliate program. When I first started the Gluten Free Cooking School blog, I never imagined the impact that it would have on our family (and our family’s finances).
As I write this, in February of 2012, I’m sitting in our RV in the middle of the Chihuahuan desert, watching the wind whip up the waves on a lake in Southern New Mexico. All three of my kids are out on a hike with John, and tonight we’ll get to watch the stars before we head to bed. We’re not on vacation. This is how we live now. And all of the income to support this comes through the very products that you’re about to start selling on your website.
If you’re here, then it’s because you want to make money from your website, but you want to do it by selling a product that you can be proud of. I’m so happy that I can help you do that. I’d love to hear what your dream is – what you’ll do with the extra income that you get from your site. I’m also excited to part of helping your dream come true.
Now for the expectations. We want to help you sell our products. We want this to be a success for you, so that you can achieve your dreams!
When we first started selling affiliate products, we contacted the owner of a gluten free product company and said, “We want to sell a lot of your product. Can you tell us how best to do that?” Unfortunately, he had no idea.
We don’t want to be like that owner.
If you’re just in the process of building your readership, we want to help you learn how to get more traffic to your site.
If you’re just in the process of creating an email list, we want to help you learn how to grow it faster and how to use it to sell products that you believe in.
If your site already receives a lot of traffic, but you want to do something more than put up ads, we can help with that too.
We’ll share what has worked with us. We’ll share what we see is working for others. We’ll listen to your feedback and questions.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sending you some basic information to introduce you to our products, and some basic information on building traffic, creating emails lists, and using email lists.
