Impending Earthquake Caused By Gluten Free Bakers

June 27, 2013

I‘m super excited about the month of July! Want to know why? Because, by the end of July, 300 people will have jumped up and down in their kitchen because they just baked the best gluten free bread they’ve ever eaten. But that’s not the only reason I’m excited.

I’m also excited because I’m going to get to send $7,500 worth of Amazon gift cards in July to those same 300 people. Yup. Maybe I’m weird, but I really like thinking about how much fun they’ll have spending that; sitting at the computer, browsing Amazon’s kitchen pages.

That would be enough excitement for most people. But it’s not enough for me!

All 300 of those new gluten free bread bakers will email me to tell me how wonderful that first bite of hot, buttered bread tasted, and how good the kitchen smelled while the bread baked, and how astounded they are that they finally made good gluten free bread.

It makes me smile right now just thinking about it.

And then once I’m done reading all of the emails I get to send some of those students a surprise! Well, not really a surprise. It’s a brand spankin’ new tortilla press to use in the next cooking class. But, still. They’ll come home one day and find a box from Amazon with their name on it. I like thinking about that too.

And then I get to do all of that over and over again!

Because those same 300 people that learned to bake bread in July are going to be making tortillas and bagels in August, pizza in September, cake in October, a Thanksgiving feast in November, gingerbread houses in December, more gluten free bread in January, waffles and crepes and biscuits in February, empanadas and eggrolls in March, yeast rolls in April, fried chicken and onion rings in May, and cinnamon rolls in June.

It’s going to be a phenomenally awesome 12 months!

Won’t you be one of the 300? We’re going to have a blast!!
