thank you so much for this! I have this page book marked and have used it more than once! sometimes my kitchen gets so overwhelming, and I do not have a dishwasher. But (like the other poster) I am the only one who can cook and clean as I go. AND why does my husband put the wrappers right next to the trash? so yea, anyhow... my kitchen often gets very overwhelming but this puts it in perspective...

thanks sooooo much!

The primary thing I try to do is unload a clean dishwasher right away, so I have an empty dishwasher (ok not right away but...soon). This way the dirty stuff doesn't build up on counters or in sink but can go in dishwasher quickly and stay there til it's full.
I try to clean as I cook, but that depends on mood of the day.
Worst issue for me is simply clutter!!!! Within two days it snowballs. Thanks for tips!

Thanks just for being honest about your approach! I'm not the only one who regularly has a dish pile up. I'm the only person in my family that is apparently incapable of making a meal and then cleaning the kitchen immediately following...but, gosh darn it, I have a life outside of the kitchen!

@Cici. Yes, tapioca flour and tapioca starch are the same. My mother tried her best to teach me to clean up as I go, but I have just never gotten the hang of it. Usually I'm cooking something that doesn't have any "stop" time between steps, or I'm using the "stop" time do other things, like check the blog, rest, do laundry, etc. Maybe I'll figure it out someday =)
