Eileen~ Congradulations on your daughter's wedding. I did a bridal shower cake for someone in the Denver Metro Area, and would be willing to help you make the one for your daughter, or give you tips. I am gf for more than 25 years and have a culinary degree. I understand her fears and they could be valid. Feel free to get in contact with me www.yourglutenfreechef.com or yourglutenfreechef at gmail.com

My daughter has Celiac Disease, and is getting married in may. I am at a loss for what to do for a wedding cake. She would like to have a traditional looking cake but dosn't want to be sick on her honeymoon.
I found a cather who will do one from a mix. She is fearfull that the icing and topping will make her sick or there will be cross contamination. I could start practicing now.
I live in Omaha Nebraska,
Any suggestions or tips, or recipes we can try baking at home would be super.
